I think this photo is more suitable for my music magazine. The reason for this is that it includes a musical instrument, the guitar, which connotes the fact that this is a music magazine and the model also has eye contact with the audience. By maintaining eye contact with the readers, a connection is formed which would hopefully make them more willing to purchase the magazine.
There is still a problem with the font that I have used for the masthead. It is still far too curly. To make my masthead stand out, I need a stronger, more solid font. The grey colours I have used for the cover lines are too weak. I need to make them bolder so that they stand out for the reader. The grey colour is too dull and doesn't catch the audiences eye.
